JOHN M. WRIGHT, President/CEO

John Wright joined Charles W. O'Conor, Inc. in 1985 and acquired the firm with Frank Wyman shortly thereafter.  He became sole owner after Mr. Wyman's death in 2007.  John is highly skilled in both buy-side and sell-side acquisition searches and in strategic planning and business valuations.  John was previously Vice President and General Partner of TA Associates, a private equity firm and was based in Paris for over five years.  He is fluent in French, and has continued OCWW's legacy in working on cross-border assignments.  He also previously served as an advisor to Bain Capital, an international private equity firm.

John is a graduate of Brigham Young University and Harvard Business School.

Industry Specializations: Specialty plastics, office products and industrial equipment.

MARY N. YOUNG, Managing Director and Director of Financing Services

Mary Young joined OCWW in 1997 after a career in secured lending which involved financing many M&A transactions at Bank of America, CIT Group, Chrysler and GE Capital.  The vast majority of these were privately-held, middle market businesses.  Her interest and focus has always been on "Main Street not Wall Street", and meeting the needs of private business owners for corporate finance advice.  She has successfully completed both buy-side and sell-side acquisition searches and has also done financings and valuation work.  She has also developed a network of European M&A contacts. She was previously an investment banker at Memhard Investment Bankers and an economic consultant at Data Resources, Inc. in New York.

Mary is a graduate of Wellesley College and the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Industry Specializations: Consumer products, industrial equipment, medical devices, energy services, contracting and financial services.

SCOTT H. PRESENT, Vice President & Director of Valuation Services

Scott Present joined OCWW in 1988. He is a highly-experienced provider of business valuations for corporations and other business entities. His work includes valuations of businesses and shareholder interests, estate and gift tax valuations, fairness opinions, ESOP valuations, and financial advisory services. Scott speaks German and has travelled to Europe and the Far East on valuation assignments.

Scott has also served in chief financial officer positions in healthcare and manufacturing firms. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.
